Rob and Alison Thompson opened their first pub in 2003 with the ambition to run multiple sites, and so Appetite for Life was born. They now operate seven pubs, two of which are with Ei Publican Partnerships; The Tap on Tower Street and the SO! Bar. Rob and Alison both bring their own unique experience to the business, with Rob’s background in drinks marketing, and Alison’s in buying. They have successfully managed the expansion of their business through their very own five point process; less haste more speed, building the right team, building the right atmosphere, keeping an eye on the costs, and visibility.
