Old Swan, Earls Barton

The Old Swan is a community pub in the ever expanding village of Earl's Barton and is run by local residents, Paul and Keith. The pair wanted to make a real difference to their small town by totally transforming the closed pub into what it is now. They have totally redecorated the pub introducing a lively family theme to the rear dining area whilst refurbishing the front area in a traditional style. They have totally engaged with the community and listened to their needs and wants, introducing themed nights, live music, free cheese and port night, and even local roast dinner deliveries to the elderly, along with charity nights raising over £10,000 in total. The drinks offer has been expanded to cater for the whole community, with the pub selling a total of 110 gins, five quality ales, premium lagers and other beers. The team really live and breathe their catchphrase, 'your local, keep it local'.
