Our property team is committed to ensuring that the pubs we offer for let are fit for purpose, their image and condition remains acceptable and that publicans are given every opportunity to maximise the trading potential of any site. We will provide you with the necessary support and assistance to ensure that your pub is maintained in optimum condition throughout your occupation
To help our publicans manage their property responsibilities we have developed a range of property support services.
We also invest millions of pounds of capex in partnership with our publicans to create great British pubs for local communities. We also have an extensive pub exterior redecoration programme. Last year we redecorated over 1,000 pubs.

Our marketing team
Our marketing team will provide you with advice, support and kits to help drive footfall and sales in your pub. Your Regional Manager will talk you through any sales generating support at your regular business meetings
We also secure exception deals for our publicans including BT Vision, Sky, as well as deals with suppliers like Brakes Foodservice to ensure you receive a competitive price.
Professional advice
To help you, we can provide you with a list of solicitors who can provide you with expert advice on any legal contractual or licensing issue. The list of solicitors have previously represented our publicans with the granting of new agreements and are therefore familiar with our terms. You are not obliged to use one of these solicitors however you may find they are able to offer a more efficient service due to their previous experience.
The business plan is an essential part of the successes of your business. You will need to work with a qualified accountant to complete your business plan. We have a list of recommended professional advisors across England and Wales and can put you in touch with an accountant in your area.
Finally, we strongly advise you to take property advice including building condition and investment surveys as appropriate.
Independent help & advice
We strongly recommend that you consider membership of a professional industry body, such as the BII, Federation of Licensed Victuallers Associations (FLVA), or the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers (ALMR). These organisations can provide invaluable support, training and 24 hour advice. In your first year as a new publican we will pay your membership fee for one of these bodies.
